The CTN attend the I Conference on Technology Applied to Underwater Archeology, TECNOARQUA 2017. The event is held on 4 and 5 December 2017 and will take place at the National Museum of Underwater Archeology, ARQUA, in Cartagena.
This international event has been organized by the National Museum of Underwater Archeology and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, with the collaboration of the spin off of the University of Malaga, Nerea Arqueología; and brings together international specialists to discuss the relationship between archeology and the latest technological innovations.
The attendance is closed and subject to invitation. The Marine Technology Center has been invited for being a reference in technological innovation; being shown the Device for the Realization of Automated Inventory of Coins. Device developed by the CTN that is currently being used by ARQUA to catalog the nearly 600,000 gold and silver coins of the famous Tesoro de la Mercedes.
